Nation’s Nurses Worried They’ll Have Nothing to Do If Tiktok Is Banned

“I mean seriously, what are we going to do in this scary time of pandemic. The hospitals are empty and there are dance offs to be won. They just can’t do this to us!”

Nurses across the country and even across the world have spoken out against the horrifying prospect of President Trump banning the social media app TikTok. They’re worried that they won’t have anything to do if they can’t practice and film their sweet dance moves on the app.

“I mean seriously, what are we going to do in this scary time of pandemic,” one Philadelphia nurse who refused to be identified said. “The hospitals are empty and there are dance offs to be won. They just can’t do this to us!”

Trump said Monday the U.S. government should get a “substantial portion” of the sales price of the U.S. operations of TikTok and warned he will ban the service in the United States on September 15 without a sale.

Healthcare professionals took to the app during the horrifying COVID-19 pandemic.

“I just can’t imagine a time before TikTok,” Suzie Queue of Boston said. “What did we do all day?”

Many see the Trump ban as a direct attack on frontline health care workers similar to the cowbell shortage earlier this year.

“I mean given the choice between more PPE and TikTok, I’m going with the TikTok. They can’t take this away from us!” Queue added.
