Syrian Army Offensive on Idlib Al-Qaedastan Is a Go, Tigers Leading the Charge

Question is, do the Syrian forces have the authorization to drive back AQ as far as they can, or is this just a limited offensive that will avoid stepping on Turkish toes?

That Syrian-Russian offensive on jihadi-held “Greater Idlib” I told you looked like it was being prepared? It has now kicked off this morning. The first settlements and strategic hills have already been taken:

BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:30 A.M.) – Minutes ago, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) began their long-awaited offensive in the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate.

Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army stormed several points under the control of Jaysh Al-Izza and Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham near the Abu Dhuhour Crossing in southern Idlib.

Despite claims of new advances inside the Hama Governorate, a military source near the front-lines told Al-Masdar that no significant ground has been captured by the Syrian Arab Army.

The Syrian military is currently pounding the jihadist defenses near Qal’at Al-Madiq and Kafr Naboudeh.

In addition to the ground attack, the Russian Air Force is also launching several airstrikes across southern Idlib and northern Hama.

Question is do the Syrian forces have a “ticket to the end station” — authorization to push back al-Qaeda and friends as far back as they can, or will the Syrians-Russians again have to halt for political reasons? Eg so the Russians can appease Erdogan, or so Damascus doesn’t court more US cruise missiles? According to some sources the offensive only aims to take the 15-kilometer zone beyond the dividing line that according to the Russian-Turkish descalation agreement should have been cleared of heavy weapons and al-Qaeda (Tahrir al-Sham) but never was:

Despite some claims that the Syrian Army offensive will target the entire Idlib Governorate, a source from the military told Al-Masdar News this past week that the primary objective of this operation will be to expel all jihadist and rebel forces from the demilitarized zone area that stretches from the Al-Ghaab Plain to the Abu Dhuhour Crossing.

The Syrian military currently has no plans to expand past the demilitarized zone as this would require a much larger force and cooperation between Turkey and Russia.

    Once they finally take care of this mess then they can take back the oil fields that rightfully belong to the Syrian people and not the 5% that were the Kurdish population of Syria.

    The conflict was started by nato and nato triggered a sectarian conflict leveraging sores between Alawis and Muslim Brotherhood.

    The Alawi take is that Muslim Brotherhood used to oppress Alawis, but the roles have now been reversed.

    But western backed assadists will not tolerate anything more than secularism which only assad has tried to leverage.

    Secularists cant see it coming, but from an Islamist point of view (Shia or Sunni) it will backfire eventually, just as any zionist or nato endeavor has eventually backfired.

    But nowadays we are talking about The Mother of Backfires, so in a few days we will see how strongly Rebels feel about their Islamic Cause vs assheads half assed secular cause.

    Asshead is liable for Islamic treason, the use of foreign allies against Muslims. And of course Russia and Chinas dreams for a One Belt One Road might just turn out to be a one belt back lashing.

    Im quite sure Russia and China will be able to overcome nato, as its destined to occur, but depending on the honesty of the Silk Road Endeavor, we can easily see how AlQaeda can not only be americas worst nightmare, but any other state that becomes arrogant beyond our Creators(swt) set limits.

      Hopefully its gone beyond any secular BS , and has come down to who is willing to die for what and eventually goes to the right vs wrong stage. Of course most of all these assholes are there for the money – which overrides most of the other – prerequisites. As Iran takes center stage – Syria gets a time out to regroup. Silk road is just an Eastern NWO – not as murderous as the Western NWO. But I can follow your synopsis – JHK

        I really do have high hopes for Silk Road its supposed to be the worlds savior eliminate poverty and bring in real peace and prosperity.

        But I just hope asshead and friends realize they are siding with f7vkers like sisi and saudis over Turkey and Qatar. Every Rebel in Idlib is anti zio anti nato and anti saudi, its just the sectarian battles taking place (Shia Fundamentalists vs Sunni Fundamentalists) with western and eastern secularists pushing their preference for a non Islamic Syria (Which yes, I agree, will be the nwo).
